Note: Not suitable for general use. Must be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of all feeding options, including breastfeeding. For Oral and tube feeding; if using as tube feed, hang time should not exceed 4 hours
Directions for Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the feed
- Sterilize the feeding bowl, feeding spoon and water measuring cup by boiling in water for 10 minutes
- Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and leave it till lukewarm
- Using the water measuring cup, pour correct amount of lukewarm water as per the feeding table
- Consult feeding table and add into the feeding bowl exacts no. of scoops leveled off according to the age of the infant. Use only scoop from this pack. Stir well till the powder dissolves
- Feed the baby with bowl and spoon. Discard the leftover feed.
Safety Information
- Unboiled water, unsterilized bowl and spoon or incorrect dilution may endanger infant’s health. Prepare only one feed at a time. Use prepared feed immediately (within half an hour), otherwise microbial deterioration may set in. Discard unused feed
- Infant milk substitute should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use
- Warning/Caution: Careful and hygienic preparation of infant milk substitute is most essential for health. Do not use more scoops than directed, since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant. Do not use fewer scoops then directed, since diluted feeds will not provide adequate nutrients needed by your infants.
