Seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) and Tinea versicolor (discoloured skin patch).
Medicinal Benefits
Candid TV Suspension 75 ml is used to treat fungal skin infections, seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff), and tinea versicolor (small discoloured skin patches). It consists of Clotrimazole (antifungal) and Selenium sulphide (anti-infective). Clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Selenium sulphide is an anti-infective agent that relieves itching and flaking of the scalp and removes the dry, scaly particles. Besides this, it also reduces skin damage due to infection, decreases flaking or scaling of the skin and helps in new skin formation in tinea versicolor.
